1.1 What is a podcast?
A podcast can be a blog it can tell you about news, the weather, sport, music and views. Podcast format is MP3 (audio) for e.g: voices, sound and music.It often organised by a script and running order. You can download podcast from internet for free legally.
1.2 Basically a Podcast is audio, and a Vodcast is video. If you would like to create a podcast you would need a computer, internet connection, voice recorder, browser, microphone, logic, YouTube, gmail and Google reader. When you are going to have your podcast or vodcast you can share it on Facebook, Twitter or your blog. If you want to record a podcast you should have mic, headphones and logic program.
1.3 Broadcast law
Broadcast law is IP ( Intellectual property ) and Libel law ( printing false words that an damage a reputation ). Copyright law is used to protect books, music, films, songs, photos, drawings and Libel law is used to protect people. In the UK Broadcast is regulate by the Office of communications (Ofcom) since 2002. A TV and Radio broadcast provider need a license from Ofcom. Licenses are also required for other related services such as television. There is also a lot of radio licenses , for digital radio and community radio. Some services needs more than one Broadcast License to protect their activities. You should only copy protected by copyright with the copyright owner's permission. A copyright protected work can have more than one copyright, for instance, each song of one album can have different copyrights. Copyrights protect your original work and stops others for using it without your permission.

My podcast
2.1 In my podcast I am going to talk about music styles, famous musicians and etc.I will try to talk about famous radio stations in the UK and try to explain and find out what young people like to listen in their spare time. I will try to follow my brief and cover all the requirements. I am also going to time my podcast, for each paragraph I will give some time and some points to cover.
2.2 My audience will be young people 17-23 years old, because I am going to make a podcast about music styles which are the most popular in these days for these ages. In my opinion it could be any background people or any gender people.
2.3 My script
Hello,
my name is Gintare Jurksaityte this is my first podcast about
music.Today I am going to say what students from WKC thinks about music
and which styles are there favorites. (20sec) (2.3)
First of all, music is very important for our society, different kinds of people like to listen different styles of music. However, for some people music is very important and for others it is just a small part of their lives. (20sec) (2.3)
I made a questionare and asked
10 people of my group what style of music they like to listen and I have
an answers that 3 people from my group like hip hop music, 2 of them
classical music, 3 people like electro music, just 1 person listen pop
music and 1 person doesn't listen music at all. If somebody would ask me
a question what kinds of music I like, I would say that it depends.
Sometimes I like hip hop music and sometimes i like to listen pop music
it depends on my mood.(1min.) (2.3)
In these days radio stations are playing
very popular music the most popular radio stations in the UK are Kiss
FM, Choice FM and BBC radio. Some of radio stations are playing very
popular music and the best hits in the world. (30sec) (2.3)
Why music is so
important for us? In my opinion when you are listening music you can
relax and feel a bit apart from everything.Personally for me, music is
very important, I couldn't imagine my life without it. When you are
listening music it seems that you have empty page in your hands and you
can create whatever you like. Just because of music you can feel more
alive and interesting for others. (1min.) (2.3)

Choose Preferences > Audio and select the Output Device and choose the aggregate device from the list. The Input device will be set automatically.
As I said, I will use Logic Pro program to create and edit my podcast L1. I also will need these things like : microphone, speakers, headphones and etc.

4.2 My podcast is about the music. I created this podcast, because I wanted to find out what people are listening in these days. I like my podcast, because I think that it is well recorded. Levels are not too high or too low. My podcast follows script as it should be. If I had to do it again, I would choose different topic, different target audience and probably I would put more sound effects.
